Corporate Coffee Shop: Trending Tuesday

Décor is always needed to brand your event—whether it’s a unique and memorable location or a hotel conference. You want your guests to be able to tell they’ve arrived at the right spot!

Today’s big companies are setting themselves apart with unique touches in their events. They’re making the events interactive. You want to transform the event space into a company experience.

Conferences and meetings are huge marketing opportunities for companies, and we as planners can help transform the space into something memorable that engages the employees and boosts employee morale.

A trending idea right now that we love for the corporate world is transforming the event space into a coffee shop. It’s cozy, comfortable, and an easy way to get ideas flowing and conversations happening.

Special draping and lighting can make any large conference space feel cozy. Browns, exposed wood details, and metal accents bring the warmth of a true coffee bar. Renting chairs and small round tables to facilitate conversation around the room helps finish off a space. Baristas featuring their amazing talents and training will entertain your attendees. Who doesn’t need a caffeine pick me up after a day of break out sessions?

Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

You are engaged! Now how do you ask your girls to partake in your magical day with you? We want to give you 5 creative ways to “pop the question”! First you must ask yourself about how much you want to spend on this endeavor, each of our ideas will be marked with dollar signs indicating how much you have to spend.

1. Quiet Little Horses

$$- Type out strips of paper that ask your friends individually if they would want to be your bridesmaid. Then roll the paper up and place it into a balloon with glitter. Place the balloon in a box and attach instructions to pop the balloon.

2. When life gives you sprinkles

$$$- If you want to give your friends a gift this next one may be fun! You can write a sweet note and within that note give away a ring with a bow symbolizing “tying the knot”. Depending on how you want the ring to look will determine your costs.

3. Swooned

$$$- This is for our wine lovers. Personalize a wine label asking your friends to be your bridesmaids. Again, this cost of this idea will depend on the kind of wine you choose to use

4. Wedding Party

$- There is absolutely nothing wrong with creating a beautiful card to give to your friends. Simply ask the question on some beautiful stationary. Add a little personalized note inside and you are all set.

5. Rinse Repeat

$$$$- This one is a little pricier because you can add as much as you would like. We are seeing these become rather popular because they are really tailored to each bride. Basically, pick a box in which you would like to present to each friend. Inside put different gifts that either describe you or your friend. And then have a noticeable piece of paper that ask the important question!

Branding Your Event With Signage

Our office loves paper! It’s a bit of an addiction. We are all about going green, but with a love for stationary, it’s difficult to cut out some things. Branding your wedding or event with signage is a detail that we encourage our clients to follow through with. Designs are created using everything from linen details, couples favorite TV shows, textures from the outdoors and of course…the southern feel that is so hot right now in the industry! It makes for a seamless design scheme and theme. Who doesn’t appreciate knowing what hors d’ oeuvres is being passed to them, or what amazing dessert treat is awaiting them? Here are some fun ways we have had our paper companies create memorable details with signage. It is not only informative, but fun, creative and beautiful!
