    In 1999, Dawn Schenkel created Premier W.E.D. with a deep passion to make events as layered and dimensional as the persons standing within it. Dawnʼs background in non-profit events and fundraisers allows her to be practical with logistics and ensures a budget-minded approach. She is a true entrepreneur always searching for ways to improve the impeccable service her company provides. Premier W.E.D. has landed coveted spots and awards in many magazines, national wedding websites, a consultant on a major network television show and ABC and Fox News feature. Dawn is proud to be a former Board Member and current general member of The International Live Events Association (ILEA) where she created an on going event in Nashville called The Box Truck Battles. She is a selected member of the National Association of Professional Women and other local organizations that give back to Nashville. As a wife and mother of two, she has been able to grow Premier W.E.D. into an impressive and extraordinary event planning firm.

    • Loves bubblegum! True old school bubble gum
    • Constantly meets celebrities and doesn’t know who they are
    • Got to study production of New York’s Fashion Week in New York on site
    • Created this business before cell phones were smart and Google was a year old and before websites, much less social media, existed.
    • Has a 6th sense that is a bit creepy
    • Spent a week on her 30th birthday at Paisley Park with Prince and other artists
